PROFESSIONAL INTERIOR PHOTOGRAPHER – or how to present your property better!

1. PROFESSIONAL INTERIOR PHOTOGRAPHY

is becoming increasingly popular. It allows to present interiors of houses, flats, service points, hotel suites and many other properties in a very interesting way. As you know, the selection of a hotel, booked by popular portals, is made mainly on the basis of photographs (apart from the price :-)), that we can see. Individuals selling or renting apartments confirm, that offers based on professionally taken pictures are more popular among buyers. It is also clearly shown in the statistics, according to which the chances of selling or renting a property increase by even 60%, if the photographs were taken by a professional photographer. However, it is not very easy to take really good pictures of the interior. It requires great knowledge and good equipment, both at the moment of shooting and in the process of selecting and processing the photographs.

2. THE TIME NEEDED TO TAKE PICTURES

Let me give you, as an example, a flat with an area of about 80 m2. On the basis of numerous experiences, I can say, that taking pictures of such interiors, assuming that the apartment has been initially cleaned and the things properly arranged, is a minimum time of 3 hours, but often this time can be longer. This is due to several aspects, but mainly to the type of lighting that is located in such a place. Rooms lit by a lot of daylight are easier to photograph, while those lit by light bulbs are more difficult. The biggest challenges are posed by combinations of different types of light bulbs, such as LED lamps, fluorescent lamps or energy-saving light bulbs.

3. PLACE WHERE YOU TAKE PICTURES

I take pictures in different places/regions and do not see any limitations here. I can get practically everywhere.

4. PREPARATION OF ROOMS TO TAKE PICTURES

The interior must be cleaned up and all furniture or props must be properly positioned. Of course, you can make changes during the session, but this general order is the basis for successful photos. The attention should be paid to all glass surfaces. They must be without any hand traces, because these will certainly appear on the photos. It is possible to remove them during the processing of the photographs, but it is a very labour-intensive procedure.

I think, that these few hints and pictures presented on the website, will help you to choose and to make a decision to book a professional interior photographer to take really good pictures of your property.
